Meet the Maker

Hi! My name is Elaina and I am from Thunder Bay, a beautiful place I get to call home.

5 facts about me:

1. I am a Registered Nurse by day and Scrunchie Maker / Crafter by night!

2. I love the outdoors and exploring all that Northwestern Ontario has to offer. Fishing, boating and camping during the summers, ice skating and skiing during our dreaded cold winters!

3. I have a yellow lab named Bubba which some of you may have met if you have come to pick up your orders in the past! 😂

4. I started Sunnyside in Spring of 2020 when the dreaded pandemic hit us.  This small business has since turned into something I am so proud of and love as a past time.

5. My boyfriend designed and 3D prints all the scrunchie stands! They are all made with eco-friendly and recyclable plastics too.
